MSV Duisburg play this season in 3rd division while FC Köln is back in the 1st division. Distance between the two cities is only 70km, therefore there was a lot of tension on this match!

About 100 masked Duisburg supporters tried to reach the away fans outside stadium, but police had control. Before kick-off a group of 40 Köln fans stormed the entrance and managed to break into the away sector without a security check.
