This derby use to be very interesting in France. Lyon fans did their job with very nice choreographies, but unfortunately fans of Saint-Etienne decided to boycott the match.

Reason is the capacity of guest sector on Stade de Gerland is 2 400. But Lyon decided to only give Saint-Etienne 600 tickets.

Instead all groups of Saint-Etienne boycotted the derby and showed their support in the morning when players left the training area.

Attendance: 37 715 spectators.
