England: Everton fans unhappy with the ownership

Furious Everton fans have organized a protest march outside Goodison Park for the fifth straight home game, calling on owner Farhad Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright to step down.

The faces of Moshiri, Kenwright and chief executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale were seen on banners and placards, some of which mocked them up as clowns.

Moshiri has not attended a game at Goodison Park since October 2021, while board members, including Kenwright and Barrett-Baxendale, have stayed away from home fixtures due to safety concerns.

The fans are unhappy with how the football club has been run in the last seven years since Moshiri became the majority shareholder, having gone through 10 managers and produced disappointing results despite heavy spending on players.
