Italy: One supporter taken to hospital

Two English supporters were injured, with one of them being taken to the hospital, prior to a friendly match in Como.

The incident reportedly occurred at the Pino Bar, located just next to the Como stadium, ahead of the friendly match between Como and Gillingham.

While limited details have emerged thus far, it is believed that the English fans were attacked by Como ultras. A 45-year-old man was transported to the hospital by ambulance, assigned a yellow code which signifies an injury of intermediate severity.
