Galatasaray played their last match at famous Ali Sami Yen Stadium.

Against Beypazari Sekerspor in the Turkish cup (11.01.2011) Galatasaray played their last match in their old Stadium.

Construction of Ali Sami Yen started in 1943. The name is taken from the founder of the club.

Galatasaray supporters use to call their stadium "Hell", with a very good reason.
